Graphic Poetry - Ask DNA

Section three of the typography book; graphic poetry. For this part, we had to create a spread using words from a poem, a song, or a peice of prose, even just a quote that we liked.

It didn't have to be something we'd written, so I chose to use a song that I was really kind into at the time; "Ask DNA" by The Seatbelts, which was the theme tune for the "Cowboy Bebop" movie.

For this piece, I have the first two verses of the song, set up on what is supposed to be a DNA double-helix. I don't think that entirely comes across, but I like it enough to upload it here.
