And yes, I felt this warranted an update. Meh. Time to go do work.

I meant to update this last weekend, but then I was busy with stuff. Oh well…

So last weekend I was on a mountaineering trip in Wales (we were somewhere in the region of Snowdon, it was awesome.)

Anyway, I got very muddy and wet getting to the first climb, but I did manage to borrow some climbing shoes, so at least I didn’t have to climb in soggy Skechers lol. Left my camera in the car on Sunday, but Andy did take one pretty cool pic of me.

This was at the top of the crag, so it very possible it’s as high as it looks. Got pretty windy the second time I was climbing, that was… fun…

Ooh, we stayed in a sorta hut thing outside Bethesda, and we had breakfast in a cafe in Llanberis called Pete’s Eats, it was bright blue and they serve tea in pint mugs, it was quite possibly the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen, lol.

The view around the “hut” was fantastic though, I’ll try to get some pics up on my devART page.

Anyways, last week I went into Hanley and bought my own climbing shoes/harness, which cost me way too much money lol.

Heee, t’was the clubs and societies fair today, and I actually got there this time. (I missed it the last two years)

So, I signed up to the Mountaineering Society. (Which my mother was overjoyed about) and the Karate Club… and the Keele University Archery Club were handing out flyers (which were crumpled as they were very maturely making paper planes out of them.). So, apparently Staffs students can join Keele’s societies… (..?)

Oh, and I signed up to the Karate Club too. So I hope I will actually learn something useful there. ^^

Oh well, and also, I got a flyer from the GK News, (the student paper) and I’m gonna see if they want a cartoonist or something.

I also put my name down to be a student ambassador (which I would get paid for, yey!) and I got my photo taken for the yearbook (and got free chocolate for doing it). But I bet I look stoned…. I always look stoned in my photos. And the psychological society gave me a free lollipop, even though I didn’t join… lol.

So I am gonna be crazy busy this year. =O (OMGZ! I’m gonna have a life!)

Then we went round to a friend’s house and watched crappy movies and ate pizza. I don’t even normally like cooked cheese, but these were really nice…

Been a busy day today! =O

I went into Hanley to get a magazine and some other stuff, and I found another magazine that I have spent the best part of a month looking for, which was really great, ’cause it has an interview with my favourite actor. *glee*

But… It had the geekiest free gift I have ever seen in a magazine. I mean, this thing can only have one purpose really.

Cosplay, anyone?
