So, I’ve been debating whether to try this or not, and after much consideration, what the hey, I’m going for it. =)

I’m gonna have a go at this year’s blogathon. I have a charity and everything. =)

So basically I have to stay up for 24 hours starting from 2pm on Saturday, and make a blog post every half-hour to prove I’m still awake.

My mum suggested this charity called “CRY” who raise awareness of things like Sudden Death Syndrome and other heart-related illnesses in young people and y’know what? Their website phrases it so much better, so… go there and give it a lookie. ^_^

And then sponsor me? Please? (I think you’ll have to login to sponsor me… but… it’s for a good cause..?)

What I’m thinking of doing is, half-hour sketches (now that my scanner is up and running again). So basically I come up with a theme and draw a sketch on that theme, which I upload. (And yes, I’d love it if people could suggest some.)

I finally finally finally managed to pull together a plan for my Neo manga contest entry. *glee* Now I just hafta draw it up full size and neat, and post it off before Friday.

Right… best get to it then…

In other news, I went climbing the other day, for the first time in… about six months. And… I fail at teh climb, omg… I couldn’t even do the first move on this crag, it was like, the first good hold was a good 3 inches above my hand at full stretch and standing on the highest possible hold.

I was not impressed. And my fingers were all sore because all the callouses that had built up to protect them have basically gone, and… ow… yea…

Aaaand~ I’m finally making some progress on the essay-of-suck. So that’s a good start… I’d hoped to have it finished by this weekend, but we’ll see… =/

And my tablet’s bust. See, a few weeks back my mum was fixing my PC and she broke one of the USB sockets… and my tablet was plugged into said socket at the time… and it’s only now after I’ve spent weeks hunting for/re-installing the drivers that I notice the end of the cable is blocked with socket-bits.

Yey.

Still, maybe this will be that excuse to upgrade I’ve been waiting for.

Oh, and Deathly Hallows for the win! (Uh, potential comment-spoilers..? I guess. Consider yourself warned.)

OH! And, I saw the first two episodes of Heroes today. How cool is Hiro!?

Aaaand omguguys can we not be discussing the merits (or lack thereof) of the iPod. That was totally not the point of my last post. The bit about the iPod was like… a footnote, lol. (It’s fixed, by the way. Awesome-bf-Jimmi fixded it.)

So I finally got my results the other day. The good news is that I’m through to the third year, assuming I can get this essay done. Of course that means I’ve got to start researching for my projects for next year and I have absolutely no idea how to do it.

And of course, there’s nobody I can ask… that would imply that the people in my class actually, y’know… talk to me. And I’ll probably get the “asking too many questions” spiel from my tutor. -_-

Bleh.

And my climbing trip got messed up by the weather. It rained… a lot… And we were going to go to an indoor wall but I have no money, so we couldn’t even do that. =/

I need a job. -_-

Oh, and my iPod is broken. D: It plays just fine, but I plug in headphones or speakers and no sound comes out. I am not a happy person.

OK, so I sorta have an idea for a manga, but… it’s only a vague concept really and it’s probably gonna come across a bit like .hack… but meh… Actually I’ve had loads of ideas in the last few days. I should write them all down. o.o

I got my copy of Harry Potter pre-ordered yesterday, I’m not sure if we’re going to pick them up at midnight, but we’ll be able to, which’ll be nice. =D And nobody is gonna ruin the ending for me this year as sister (the only other HP fan in the house) is leaving for Poland on release day, haha. I got a free book with my pre-order too, “Mister Monday.” It’s… actually quite good, it’s… weird though. Some of the humour comes across a bit Terry Pratchett and the actual setting is just plain surreal.

Aaaaand… I’m going climbing on Tuesday! (Weather permitting – Please be sunny!) I just hope brother remembers that I haven’t been climbing since February and doesn’t go planning any E1′s. xD And James is planning to bring his camera along, so there should be some photos too. (Yey!)

So now I just need my results and to get this essay finished. Can’t wait.
I finally came up with a fourth case-study, so at least that’s a start.
